About the event
Project RESPECT is RICJ’s week-long residential leadership institute that empowers Rhode Island youth to grow as leaders, build confidence, and connect across differences. Through workshops, community-building activities, and real conversations about identity, justice, and teamwork, young people learn to lead with empathy and authenticity. Youth leave with lifelong friendships, strengthened skills, and a deeper understanding of their ability to create positive change in their communities.
