In Rhode Island, April 1st and 2nd mark the celebration of the International Day of Giving, a momentous occasion orchestrated by the United Way of Rhode Island. 401GIVES unites individuals in a collective effort to support local nonprofits, which play a crucial role in delivering essential services to communities across the state. This year, our youth woke up at 5AM to engage donors, while our dedicated staff worked tirelessly to ensure widespread outreach and impact, and as a result we were able to raise $18,410 towards our target goal of $20,000--the most we have ever been able to raise!
However, we could not have done it without all of the generous donations we received as well as the effort from the youth and staff. Each and every contribution represents a significant stride forward in our collective endeavor to forge a more just and equitable society for all.
